Current Student Organizations at CSU Stanislaus:

There are over 90 clubs and organizations at CSU Stanislaus! The wide variety offered for students
can help students exercise their campus and community involvement in student-run organizations.
If you find that there isn't a club or organization that fits your need as a CSU Stanislaus student than
you are free to start up your own! Stop by the office of Student Activities Center in the University Student
Union to pick up a list of all the clubs and organizations at our university and learn how to formulate a
new club and organization.

Students have a committment to their studies and their families. As a student we are tested in numerous balancing acts to get things efficiently done in the right amount of time. Nothing can give more happiness than receiving that hard earned A in a difficult class. BUT there is something more rewarding that can give the upmost happiness! GIVING time out of your day is something worth while and cannot be discussed rather than felt.

Check out the Sociology club down below as they fundraised 400 toys to be rewarded to children and their families around the Turlock area. Students were asked to choose a child from the Christmas tree that was located in the lobby of Dorothy & Bill Bizzini Hall and fill the shoebox full of age appropriate gifts. This year the club will donate the shoeboxes to West Side Ministries, Court Appointed Special Advocates (CASA), and The Haven Women's Center of Stanislaus... to check out the story even more and how you can help next time around just click here

******************************

Hi my name is Vanessa Martinez! I am graduating Spring of 2009 and I am glad to
be a part ofa multicultural organizatin called Lambda Sigma Gamma Sorority, Inc.
It has been an amazing three year run with my sisters and we have been a part of many
volunteer opportunities on and off campus and with different organization/clubs.
You name it I have done it. Primarily I work for the benefit of children. I give my time twice a week,
every week to the Headstart children at Osborn Elementary in Turlock, Ca.
It gives me great pleasure to work alongside their learning process and to help out their families
with thanks giving baskets and christmas toys every year. I am proud to call myself a Lambda and a dedicated volunteer!!
